What is Spam?
Spam is unsolicited commercial electronic messaging which includes emails, instant messaging, SMS and other mobile phone messaging that is commercial in nature.
A single message can be spam.
Privacy
All businesses are required to make sure their practices are in accordance with the National Privacy Principles, available from www.privacy.gov.au, in all activities where they deal with personal information.
Kreative Mail ensures that all subscriber lists, email content and reports remain private and confidential.
Kreative Mail will not sell, rent, loan or invite external access to any email lists. Nor will Kreative Mail themselves use customer's email lists for any purpose.
Kreative Mail may scan the content of emails to ensure it complies with our Ant-Spam + Privacy Policy to protect against defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, obscene, profane or threatening material that is racially or ethnically offensive.
Rules for sending emails
Account holders of Kreative Mail are responsible for following these three steps:
STEP 1 - CONSENT
Your emails must only be sent when you have consent.
This may be express consent from the person you wish to contact – a direct indication that it is okay to send the email. This includes subscribing to the mailing list, deliberately checking a box consenting to receive emails or specifically consenting over the phone.
It is also possible to infer consent based on a business or other relationship with the person and their conduct. This includes the purchase of goods and services where they have provided an email address, where an email address has been provided with the understanding it would be used for additional communications, where a business card has been provided containing an email address.
STEP 2 - IDENTIFY
Your emails must contain clear and accurate information about who is responsible for sending the message and how they can be contacted.
Identification details must be reasonably likely to be accurate for a period of 30 days after the message is sent.
STEP 3 - UNSUBSCRIBE
Your emails must contain an unsubscribe facility, allowing people to opt-out from receiving future messages. All requests must be honoured.
If you have any questions about our Anti-Spam + Privacy Policy, or if you want to report spamming by one of our customers, please contact us.
